Working with Excel 365 (aka version 15)
In this series, we concentrate on the software Microsoft Excel and using this to undertake basic data organisation and calculation. These are designed to be used by students to practice Excel and to follow onto more advanced concepts and software. I like to start with Excel, because it is very visual, for example, you can see your data and manipulate this iteratively, whereas with some more advanced software such as R, it’s sometimes harder to see what is happening.
I’ll be keeping a focus onĀ basics but you might want to refer to other sessions or even other videos on YouTube if you are not following me entirely (i.e. if there is something that I have taken that you might know for granted).
These materials are created to supplement my teaching at Bangor University, and this site acts to consolidate those concepts and provide additional tuition for students who want to refresh their knowledge, or enhance it through practice.
