Seaweed physiology and ecology

In this section, I have consolidated what I call “Lecture Extra”, these are essentially pod-casts designed to help students with some of the more important concepts covered in lectures. In this course, we are focussing on the amazing world of seaweeds. We cover their amazing life histories, through to how they respond to stressors such as light, salinity and temperature. As well as venturing in to the arms races of chemical defences that can occur between seaweeds and their enemies.

This course is as taught by me at Bangor University for the Marine Biology BSc (module code: OSX-2002).

In total each Lecture Extra pod-cast is about 15-30 minutes long, and each covers one of four lectures in total.
